The above photos show the immediate results right after a treatment is completed. The post treatment redness is normal and fades in a day or two.  It is very easy to see the dramatic reduction in the blood vessels treated.  The above treatment was done in my office using a Surgitron which uses an amplified high frequency current to eliminate the blood vessels.

In my practice, my preference is to use this type of treatment for the larger blood vessels.  Unfortunately, it does have limitations when trying to treat smaller vessels.  For the smaller vessels we use a Nd/Yag laser with excellent results.  Some individuals do best with a combination of both types of treatments.
